NexTurn NexTurn
For Commander players

COMMANDER NIGHT, MINUS THE BOOKKEEPING.

Lay a phone in the middle of the pod. Every player gets their own life total facing them, commander damage counts itself, and a turn clock keeps the game moving. The coasters put it under everyone’s fingers.

The NexTurn table view for four players: each player’s life total in a panel turned to face their seat, the active player’s panel lit with a turn timer and a Pass button, and chips for commander damage, poison, commander tax and the Monarch.
The table view

EVERYONE GETS THEIR OWN SIDE.

The phone lies flat and splits into a panel for each player, turned to face their seat. Two to six players, starting at 40 life.

Tap your side. The left half takes 1 off, the right half adds 1. Hold to move 10.
See the swing. A running tally shows the hit before it settles, so the table can check the math.
The turn is on the table. The active player’s panel lights up with their turn time and a Pass button.
The screen stays on. The table view keeps the phone awake until the game ends.
The table view for six players, three panels down each long side of the phone.
Commander damage

21 FROM ONE COMMANDER. COUNTED FOR YOU.

Open a player’s panel and record what each opponent’s commander has dealt them. It comes off their life in the same tap, and every commander’s total is kept apart.

Partners count on their own. Two commanders? Each one is tracked toward 21 separately.
Poison, tax and the rest. 10 poison, commander tax in steps of 2, plus energy, experience and rad when a deck needs them.
The table makes the call. At 0 life, 10 poison or 21 commander damage, the panel asks whether that player is out. Cards keep people alive, so the app asks instead of deciding.
The Monarch and the Initiative. Hand them over with a tap. When the holder goes out, they move on the way the rules say.
One player’s panel opened to Commander damage taken: 5 from one opponent, 14 from another and 0 from the third, with a switch that also takes it off life.
With the coasters

ONE BUTTON FOR THE TURN. TWO FOR YOUR LIFE.

In a Commander game the coaster’s turn button passes your turn, and the two small buttons take 1 life off or put 1 back for whoever pressed them. The light flashes red or green so you know it counted.

Take damage from your seat. Nobody reaches across the table to change your number.
Pass without the phone. Press, and the next player’s coaster lights up.
See who the pod is waiting on. The active player’s coaster glows in their color.
Four coasters to a set. Add more, or let a fifth and sixth player join from their phones with no account.
Four NexTurn coasters in a row, one lit blue. Each has a large turn button and two small buttons beside the cupholder.

Every game, remembered

WHO WENT OUT, WHEN, AND HOW.

When the game ends, NexTurn keeps the story: the order players went out and what did it, everyone’s final life, and who won. Standings come from the order players went out, so second place means something.

Win rate by commander

Each player types what they are playing when the game starts. After a few games, the stats show which commanders actually win at your table.

Every game saved for everyone at the table with NexTurn: same night, same result, no one re-typing it.
